Prayer for the Dead Blog Tour

Today marks the start of the week long Prayer for the Dead blog tour! Twenty eight blogs will be hosting and one lucky winner will walk away with a huge prize pack from me.

Visit any of the blogs below for their reviews or to read my guest posts including- character interviews with Olivia, Drake, Devon, Katarina, and Zane. You'll also learn where the inspiration for PftD came from, read a few excerpts and deleted scenes, see pictures of my work space, and check out the playlist of songs which inspired characters and plot elements.

I'll be posting the links to each blog on my Facebook page and you can also get more information from the wonderful company handling the tour, Literati Author Services, Inc (website and Facebook page)

I'd like to express my gratitude to all the blogs hosting me. Thanks for giving this newbie author space on your blogs and bookshelves. It's going to be a great week!

Title:  TAKEN
Author: Felicia Starr
Expected Release Date: December 2013
Genre: Fiction | YA | Paranormal
Opening her eyes to an imposing prison of complete darkness, Kasha is accused of possessing powers and abilities she had no previous knowledge of until the moment she comes face to face with herself while meditating. Haunted by memories strung together by lies and deceit, she soon discovers that maybe her beloved grandmother kept a few secrets she had not been aware of. Secrets that could be her salvation… or her undoing. As she struggles to control her newfound powers, only time will tell if they will be enough to help her decipher who has imprisoned her or what they want from her. She must search for the answers and the freedom she so desperately desires. Could a handsome person whom vows to help her are away prove to be the man of her dreams… or perhaps her worst nightmare? Not knowing whom to trust, she must find a way to escape before she pays the ultimate price and finds herself taken by the darkness.
You must betray your heart and walk amongst the darkness in order to find the truest light.
Author Felicia Starr lives five miles from her favorite Jersey Shore destination with her amazingly supportive family.  She loves to spend time creating special memories with her husband and two young boys.   Everyone expected her first publication to be a cookbook, but her love for writing has surpassed her love for cooking.  Felicia graduated magna cum laude from Kean University with a bachelor’s degree in psychology and a post baccalaureate in elementary education.  She is a licensed real estate sales person, a certified yoga instructor, and most importantly, a stay-at-home mom.

An Indie's Life For Me

I wanted to take a few minutes to thank all the wonderful people and bloggers who helped with the release of Prayer for the Dead last Monday.

My first big shout out has to go to E.I. Jennings. She kindly took this little fledgling author under her wing. It was because of that kindness, all these blogs came on board to help send PftD out into the world. I feel so fortunate to be an indie author. It's amazing the rallying support this community can have for one another. Thanks E! I hope to, not only, one day repay the favor, but also pay to forward! Please check out E.I.'s webpageFacebook page., and her book tour promotion site, Midnight Book Tours.

Thanks to all the following blogs/pages for blasting Prayer for the Dead out into the world. My release day was a wonderful success because of your help!

Readers- please check out these links and maybe give these fantastic blogs a like or follow. Who knows, they may just help you find your next favorite book!

Not only was Monday release day, but it was a resurrection of a dream, nearly twenty years in the making, that almost died. Finally, I can legitimately call myself an author and I have all of you to thank for it. You have my undying love! Mwah!
